Review of Midi Inn, BerlinDuring a recent three-night stay at Midi Inn, my partner and I found ourselves nestled in the vibrant Prenzlauer Berg quarter of Berlin, a region brimming with eclectic eateries and culture. The hotel's location pleases, being conveniently close to the city centre yet maintaining the charm of its surroundings. We occupied one of the apartments run by Malzcafe, characterized by ample space, significant windows, and a well-maintained bathroom. It is worth noting that the accommodation operates more as a collection of private apartments, straying from traditional hotel expectations. This setup offers a unique atmosphere, although not without some downsides. The absence of air conditioning, particularly during the summer, proved challenging, alongside insufficient light-blocking curtains. Coupled with street noise, our nights were shorter than desired. The housekeeping services met high standards, and the kitchen facilities, including cookware and utensils, were particularly handy for light meals. In summary, Midi Inn provides a compelling balance of price and experience, with an advantageous location that allows for excellent exploration. Consider the constraints of the room's comfort before your visit.
